gateway_park.jpg

Gateway Park was constructed in 1982 with the purpose of stabilizing, beautifying and preserving river mouth property for public access and multi-recreational use. It was named Gateway Park because it is virtually the first major regional exposure to Lake Huron coastal system. In addition, Gateway Park has several concrete playground animals that were constructed by a local artist. Children can crawl on, through, and slide down!
