Enjoy beautiful beach sunrises in the morning, or a beach fire in the evening as the moon rises from the lake. Refresh after morning coffee with a walk on the beach, or a swim in the fresh clear water. Should you need to entertain the little ones, we are "parkside" for great bonding time with the kids.

For the boat enthusiast, or waverider, we have a boat slip available to guests only and parking for trailers. Among the vast beauty of Northeast Michigan, captivate yourself in the Huron National Forest, or take a drive up our newly designated "Heritage Route 23" during the fall color season. Hiking trails in the forests allow you to search for a white-tailed deer or bring your fishing gear. Salmon, steelhead, and walleye are among some of the top game fish we have to offer. Local charter boats are available. Plan a 1/2 or full day family canoe, raft, or kayak ride down the world famous AuSable River.

For golfers, there are several courses nearby to put on your list. Scratch golfers may want to try our more challenging courses including the Gailes, ranked by Golf Week as a top 100 public course in the U.S. in 2016. For the rest of us, there are many playable courses all of which can be found within a 20 minute drive of Thomas Parkside Cottages.

If among all else you just want to chill on the beach with your significant other...we get it. Our bungalows have no common walls and offer ultimate privacy.
